Welcome to our website.  Here and on our Facebook page you will find information on upcoming events, reports of recent activities and a comprehensive photo gallery showing the kind of things that we get up to.  I am immensely proud to have the honour of being our club’s president for the forthcoming Rotary year not least as this year we celebrate 50 years of being a club and we are going to hold a big celebration dinner on 15 February 2025.  We have also planned a variety of social events for both members and guests throughout, such as strawberry teas and a tapas evening as well as undertaking a number of outings including an international trip next spring.  Santa’s visits are always a highlight of our year.

Our club prides itself on friendliness, lack of stuffiness and visitors to our meetings or attendees at one of our events are assured of a warm welcome.  We are always on the lookout for new members particularly ladies, where we are seriously unrepresented currently.  If you are curious as to what we do and fancy coming along to one of our meetings please contact us through this website.  One of our members will be delighted to meet you just before the meeting and introduce you to everyone.  We enjoy a meal at all of our meetings served by the wonderful staff at the excellent White Swan Hotel.

We continue to raise funds for good causes both locally and internationally as well as helping out at a wide variety of events such as The Jim Clark Rally, Truckfest and tree planting.  We also administer the town’s Citizen of the Year award as well as having a close working relationship with local schools.  We do all of this in the spirit of fellowship and fun.
